FAQs ABOUT PULSE

What is Pulse and why did Raízen decide to open an innovation hub?

We are the meeting point where startups, universities, investors, executives and agribusiness companies come together to shape a more intelligent future. Raízen has innovation and the desire to bring about ideas, solutions and new business models in its DNA. The hub is an independent, flexible platform enabling this task to be performed well.

Who can join?

Pulse is for anyone who wishes to have an impact on the agribusiness sector. Startups, investors, teachers and students, universities, mentors, agribusiness executives and organizations or those from outside the sector who can contribute to the ecosystem are all invited to be part of the hub.

How can I take part?

If you want to contribute your ideas or experience to the ecosystem, you can register for the hub using this link. We will get back to you shortly.

How much does it cost to become a member?

There is no financial cost for joining the hub. Once you pass the selection process and become a member, all we ask is that you remain active in the community and contribute to the circulation of knowledge through the ecosystem.

What are the advantages of becoming a member of Pulse?

You will be an active part of an ecosystem that:
1 – promotes the circulation of knowledge among its members through an agenda of talks and events.
2 – provides hosting, mentoring to accelerate the startups and investment.
3 – improves solutions by offering a field for pilot testing.
4 – puts you in direct contact with those who can help you develop your startup
5 – gives you access to modern facilities, enabling you to focus on what is most important: making your business prosper in the market.

Where is Pulse?

Pulse can be found at one of the largest agribusiness hubs in Brazil: Piracicaba/SP, street Cezira Giovanoni Moretti, 955 - 9th floor. Proximity to the Raízen Administrative Center (CAR), also located in Piracicaba, and its production units enables constant contact with executives and facilitates access to a wide field of experimentation for the startups.

How can I hold an event?

We ask only that the event is free, aimed at an entrepreneurial audience and contributes with the circulation of knowledge among members of the hub. Suggestions for themes can be sent to contato@pulsehub.com.br and we will analyze the possibility of using the venue.

What is the role of Venture Capital? How do the investments work?

Being hosted at Pulse is a great display window for startups. Besides the permanent presence of our partner SP Ventures, it will also attract investors for each of their stages of development, from early stage to venture capital, including the possibility of investment from Raízen itself.
